Job satisfaction, corporate image, expectations, perceived quality, job pressures, and job engagementAbstract
The objective of this research is to develop a theoretical approach to propose a model for estimating job satisfaction. The implemented strategy was documentary research, based on theories, models, and indices for estimating satisfaction. "The results provide a basis for presenting a model based on five latent constructs that explain job satisfaction: corporate image, expectations, perceived quality, work pressures, and work commitment. The relevance of the developed model focuses on presenting a comprehensive estimation approach that, on one hand, considers both ex ante and ex post perceptions of factors traditionally attributed to job satisfaction, and on the other hand, integrates elements of the work environment. A limitation of the study is attributed to being in the theoretical phase, so the model will need to undergo empirical testing.
