The topic of Artificial Intelligence has become a central focus of numerous discussions and concerns in different social sectors. Addressing these matters requires the coordinated work of multiple stakeholders (social, political, economic, scientific and technological, etcetera). In this text we briefly explore the role that psychology can play in this field, emphasizing psychosocial issues such as the attitudes towards Artificial Intelligence and their relationship to cultural production (books, series, and movies); the use of this technology in areas related to behavioral research, as well as the development of intellectually and morally competent technology users. We concluded that the systematic study of these questions will contribute to understanding the complex relationship between humankind and technology.
